RIG OPERATOR
The Rig Operator is in charge of operating an assigned workover rig and supervising the rig crew. They are required to understand downhole tools, rod and tubing handling equipment, pump equipment, and pipe wrangler equipment. Additionally, they are responsible for maintaining the daily operating procedures of the rig while making sure that work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations and company policy.
DERRICK HAND
The Derrick Hand assists in all duties on the rig, including rigging up and down, working in the rod basket and tubing board, picking up or laying down tubing/rods, working the floors, and other assigned duties. Additionally, they are responsible for maintaining the daily operating procedures of the rig while making sure that work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations and company policy.
FLOOR HAND
The Floor Hand assists the Derrick Hand and Operator in many functions, including tripping pipe, handling tongs, making connections, cleaning, operating machines, and maintenance of equipment used on a workover rig.
CEMENTER
The P&A Cementer is in charge of rigging and operating cement pumps. Additionally, they are required to complete calculations for balanced and squeeze plugs, work with rig crews to ensure that jobs stay on schedule, and ensure plugs are placed according to W3A.
CDL DRIVER
CDL drivers must be able to safely operate a heavy-duty truck, vacuum truck, winch truck, or other assigned vehicle through various oilfield terrain. Additional responsibilities include hauling tanker, flatbed, drop deck, heavy haul, end dump, and other oilfield equipment throughout the region.
