The Lifecycle of an Oil Well

When a well is no longer economically viable, it must be properly plugged and abandoned, and all the equipment necessary to produce the hydrocarbons must to removed. Most operators see their job as being complete once the well is plugged. At Post Recycling, plugging a well is just the beginning of the value proposition. We use this opportunity to reclaim the land to its original inhabitable form. Then we recycle the equipment used to produce the well and deliver that material to steel mills or other markets that can use the material. Our success is measured through our environmental impact.
